Long soft springs give articulation, but make on road handling difficult. We have combined a stiff, road spring with a soft articulation spring into a single telescopic housing. On the road, you run on your regular springs. When your axle needs to articulate, the long, soft spring pops out and gives you another 10 inches of sprung travel.
