This could really upset your local Snap-On man!
On a land rover, there is a ring of six or seven (depending on model)
bolts that hold the steering swivels on to the axle casing. The heads
of these bolts are so close to the swivel that you can only get a ring
spanner anywhere near it.
I made this as a safe (for me, not the spanner) way of increasing the
leverage I get on the spanner. Since then, I have used it again &
again for other stuck things - and have never actually broken the spanner.
This is my No 1 useful DIY tool!
