X-Flex
and X-DeFlex are the ground-breaking
flexible suspension system developed by X-Eng.
Vehicles fitted
with X-Flex components have achieved top place in many RTI Ramp
contests, proving that they can give a stock Land Rover vehicle,
articulation only rivalled by purpose built 'buggies'.
Of course, winning
an RTI ramp contest does not mean that a vehicle will win winch
challenges or be drivable on the road!
Our components,
in particular X-Joints and X-Springs have been used by the Nick
Watts & James Trembath in Rogue Vogue, the Class 2 winning vehicle
for the last three years of the AWDC Howlin' Wolf Challenge series
as well as countless other vehicles.
Traditionally,
the more capable you make your vehicle off road, the worse it's
handling becomes on the road. For most of us, our off-roader is
also our daily-driver.
Until now, that
is! This year, X-Eng has launched the first Unlockable Anti Roll
bar for Land Rovers - X-DeFlex. In it's locked position it is three
times stiffer than a standard Defender anti roll bar giving superior
on road handling. Often the handling of an out and out off-roader
will be better than an un-modified Land Rover once X-DeFlex has
been fitted.
Unlock X-DeFlex
with a simple turn of a knob and it will not restrict the axle articulation
at all. In fact, it will allow a full 16" of unrestricted movement
before binding, equivalent to +7" travel.
X-DeFlex really
does let you have your cake AND EAT IT!
