Many
customers prefer to buy a complete kit including a number
of separate components to upgrade their suspension in one
go.
We do not currently sell springs or shocks as we try to concentrate
on products we have designed & developed ourselves - and
there are many other suppliers of both.
For good quality springs and shock absorbers, we recommend
you speak to Gwyn Lewis http://www.gwynlewis4x4.co.uk/
They stock most of the major quality brands and will be able
to advise on spring rates, lengths and applications much better
than ourselves.
Apart from those, we can supply everything else!
The following
kits are all pre-discounted, giving big savings compared to
ordering the parts in isolation.

X1 - X-Springs,
X-Arms & X-Ball |
X-Springs
are an innovation on traditional spring dislocation cones. Instead
of allowing the spring to dislocate and be left dangling, a
secondary telescopic spring continues to push the axle down
giving traction where otherwise you would get none!
X-Arms, complete with our unique X-Joint
give unparalleled freedom of movement, again increasing the
ground pressure and increasing traction. Unlike 'Cranked' arms,
our arms are straight for greater strength and the crank is
built in to the joint.
X-Ball is a replacement for a standard
A Frame ball joint which offers up to 6 degrees more articulation
than most others. Additionally, it is adjustable which extends
its life as it wears. |

To
fully utilise your rear suspension and achieve the maximum articulation
the X-Flex kit can offer, you need to fit extended shock absorbers
(Dampers). A standard Land Rover Shock will only allow 9"
(228mm) of travel. Even on a 2" lifted vehicle, with the
standard shock mounts you can only extend this to 10" (254mm).
However, the X-Flex suspension increases the freedom of movement
for over 15" (381mm) - so to fully utilise it, you need
shockabsorbers with +6" travel. Our X-Tend
Shock Absorber mounts are adjustable and allow you to fit any
Pin/Ring shock absorber from +2" to +6" travel. This
allows you to use the shock absorbers best suited to the vehicle
and your needs - not the best ones to suit the mounts.
The main competitor to X-Tend, supplied
by Gwyn Lewis and Terrafirma are not compatible with Td5 Vehicles
- due to the location of the fuel filter. X-Tend can be fitted
to a Td5 or later Defender without re-locating the fuel filter. |

The
trouble with lifting a vehicle and making the suspension more
flexible to improve its off road ability is it compromises the
on road handling and safety. You can fit an Anti-Roll Bar -
but it does the opposite of what you want off road, even if
it does improve the on road manors.
X-Deflex is the solution. It is the
only Anti-Roll Bar for Land Rovers that you can switch on and
off! On the road, turn the switch to the locked position and
it will give you at least 3x the roll resistance of a standard
bar. It has a dramatic effect on the way your vehicle handles
on the road. Turn the switch to Unlock and your suspension is
completely unrestricted. The bar will allow a full 16"
suspension travel without binding up or the knuckles inverting. |

X4 - Pick 'n' Mix |

covered above - such as X-3, without the X-Tend so that it will

will give you the same equivalent saving with the components
