| X-Zag
- Synthetic Winch Cable Protector |
Synthetic
winch cables are easily damaged by winching over the ground.
Even if the cable is not obviously damaged by rocks, mud works
it's way into the weave, abrading the fibres and over time weakening
the cable.
When a single rope can cost over £200, an X-Zag can pay
for itself four times over in a single winch recovery.

It will
protect your synthetic rope if you need to winch over a bank.
Made from corrosion resistant Stainless Steel tube, it is
light weight, but very strong
The
unique shape allows it to slide sideways, but also allows
it to be wedged in a hollow to keep the cable on a particular
line.

Unlike
any other device, it will hug a tree allowing you to divert
the cable round a tree without having to rig a snatch block
& tree strop.
You can rig the X-Zag without detaching
the cable - just a bit of slack. |
| Above,
Nick & Graham (in the RogueVogue) using X-Zag in a recent
competition. You can see where other winch cables have cut a
'V' in the bank. The X-Zag spans the gap. The smooth stainless
tube protects the cable, reduces friction and increases safety. |

Doubles as a wheel-chock and it helps you change heavy wheels
by lifting the wheel such that the studs line up with the holes
in the wheel. |
Our 1.75" Quick-Fist rubber clamps provide an ideal way of securing
your X-Zag.
